I have to say that over the years I've been going to TIFF I've never been disappointed by any Asian cinema, and this is no exception. What a great film. Really fun and funny. The Japanese take great pride in taking a piss on themselves and the results are wonderful. The story is essentially a young Japanese musician who wants to be a trendy pop singer finds himself fronting a popular metal band. The result, hilarious and fun fill with lots of great supporting characters. There's still one more screening on TIFF next week. Check it out.
