1515 - Feast

I've been wanting to watch this film for years and was excited to see it on Netflix.  It was the third and final film to be the focus of the Project Greenlight series, of which I was addicted.  It's an entertaining series and highly rewatchable, especially for you aspiring filmmaker types!
Without a doubt this is the best film to come out of Project Greenlight.  It's a pretty simple premise - a group of (mostly) strangers are in a hick bar in the middle of nowhere and suddenly the bar starts being attacked by some kind of creature and they fight for their lives.
The best thing about this film was it's wonderful in-predictability.  It went to places I never would have guessed and it was all the better for it, keeping you on your toes.  Enough dark humor to keep it light - this is just a goddamn fun horror flick.  Not sure that I have any burning desire to see the rest in the series, but I would highly recommend this for any fan of the horror genre.  It takes the conventions of the genre and has a hell of a lot of fun with them.  Oh, and it features Krista Allen of soft-core Emmanuelle fame.  Enjoy!
